Terms of Service & Trade Sourcing Conditions
Terms of Service & Commercial Sourcing Conditions
Last updated: October 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern commercial transactions, quotations, orders, and supply relationships entered into with Fourlanos B2B (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including use of our corporate procurement hub at fourlanosb2b.com and our online catalog at shop.fourlanosb2b.com (“E-Shop”).
By submitting an RFQ, placing an order on our e-shop, or accepting a proforma invoice, you agree to be bound by these commercial conditions.
1. Commercial B2B Scope & Buyer Eligibility
Fourlanos B2B is an independent wholesale distributor serving mechanical contractors, HVAC technicians, commercial facility operators, and industrial enterprises.
- Transactions conducted via our platforms and trade desk are strictly Business-to-Business (B2B).
- Buyers represent that purchases are made for professional, trade, contracting, or industrial purposes.
2. Quotations, Pricing & Tender Schedules
- Quotation Validity: Written quotations issued by our trade desk (including Tender BOM Fast-Quotes) remain valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issuance, unless stated otherwise due to raw material index movements or manufacturer price updates.
- Trade Pricing Structure: All prices displayed on our e-shop or quoted via proforma are denominated in Euros (€) unless specified otherwise, net of applicable taxes, shipping, and export documentation costs.
- Quantity Tiering: Special bulk project pricing applied to tender equipment schedules is contingent on the line-item quantities specified. Alterations to project quantities may require re-calculation of trade discounts.
3. Realistic 2-Tier Inventory & Lead Times
To maintain trade transparency and avoid overpromising, deliveries are categorized under our realistic 2-tier inventory structure:
- Tier 1 — Warehouse Stock (Athens Hub):
- High-rotation commercial valves, circulators, standard actuators, and boiler spares kept in our Athens distribution center are scheduled for fast dispatch within 24–48 hours following payment or account confirmation.
- Tier 2 — Factory Orders & Tender Schedules:
- Specialized high-capacity valve assemblies, heavy industrial pump skids, specialized building automation controls, and tender project volumes are coordinated directly with European manufacturer production lines.
- Production schedules and estimated factory dispatch dates are confirmed upon proforma issuance and tracked continuously by our logistics team.
4. 0% EU VAT Intracommunity Reverse-Charge Invoicing
In accordance with EU Directive 2006/112/EC, commercial enterprises registered for VAT within the European Union (outside of Greece) are eligible for 0% VAT reverse-charge billing.
- VIES Validation: Buyers must provide a valid European VAT identification number. All VAT numbers are verified in real time against the European Commission VIES database.
- Domestic Greek Orders: Deliveries within Greece are subject to the standard statutory Greek VAT rate.
- Non-EU / Export Orders: Orders delivered to non-EU destinations (e.g. UK, Middle East, USA) are invoiced without Greek VAT; local import duties, customs clearance, and destination taxes are the responsibility of the consignee.
5. Payment Terms & Security
We provide flexible, secure B2B payment methods:
- Bank Wire Transfer (SEPA / IBAN / SWIFT): Preferred for high-ticket tender bills of materials and proforma invoices. Official bank details are provided on every formal quotation.
- Commercial Credit & Debit Cards: Processed through encrypted PCI-DSS Level 1 payment gateways on our E-Shop.
- Established Trade Accounts: Credit terms are available for ongoing contractor partners following credit assessment and minimum trade history.
Orders are released for dispatch upon receipt of cleared funds or confirmed trade credit authorization.
6. Delivery, Transfer of Risk & Inspection
- Incoterms: Standard shipments are fulfilled under CPT (Carriage Paid To) or EXW (Ex Works Athens Hub) as agreed upon quotation.
- Transfer of Risk: Risk of loss or damage transfers to the buyer upon handover of the goods to the commercial freight carrier.
- Receipt & Inspection Protocol:
- Consignees must inspect shipments immediately upon delivery.
- Any external packaging damage must be documented on the carrier’s delivery note before signing.
- Any hidden discrepancies or missing line items must be reported in writing to [email protected] within 48 hours of physical receipt.
7. Product Authenticity & Manufacturer Warranty
- 100% Genuine OEM Equipment: We source exclusively from authorized European factory lines for brands including Honeywell, Grundfos, Belimo, Danfoss, Siemens, and Wilo. We strictly reject uncertified replicas or gray-market components.
- Warranty Coverage: Products are covered by the official standard manufacturer warranty (typically 12 to 24 months, subject to manufacturer terms).
- Warranty Coordination: In the event of a warranty claim, our technical desk coordinates directly with the European manufacturer’s warranty department to evaluate and resolve the issue expeditiously.
8. Commercial Returns & Order Cancellations
- Standard Warehouse Stock: Unused, uninstalled items in pristine original factory packaging may be accepted for return within 14 calendar days of delivery, subject to prior written Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from our trade desk. A standard restocking and inspection fee (up to 15%) may apply.
- Factory Orders & Custom Specifications: Specially ordered factory components, non-catalog assemblies, and custom-calibrated sensors cannot be cancelled or returned once production has commenced with the manufacturer.
9. Limitation of Liability
Fourlanos B2B acts as an authorized trade distributor. In no event shall Fourlanos B2B be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or economic damages (including lost contractor revenue, liquidated project penalties, or plant downtime) arising from delayed deliveries due to force majeure or manufacturer supply chain constraints. Our aggregate liability is strictly capped at the net invoiced value of the specific goods in question.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and any commercial agreements entered into with Fourlanos B2B are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece and the European Union. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Athens, Greece.
